Forest Wellbeing is an exciting new development for the Forest Activities Festival, happening for the first time this year, in the marquee. Think of it as a chill-out area where you can go to relax, and find out about some of the wonderful activities which promote relaxation, health and wellbeing in the Forest of Dean.

SESSIONS

11.15am – 11.30am Jaqui Fabian
Deep relaxation in just 10 Minutes
Easy-to-follow breathing and meditation techniques to help calm your mind and relax your body. Practice it a few times and you’ll be able to get almost instant relief when your mind gets overactive. More explanation of how and why this works will be given in the session.

11.45am – 12.15pm Kishe Redwood, Wildwood Yoga
Iyengar yoga
This is accessible to anyone. Regular practice increases suppleness, strength, stamina, improves posture, balance and concentration, and enriches the quality of your health and wellbeing on all levels. Kishe Redwood (CIYT 2004) will lead 2 sessions for you to experience yoga postures taught with precision, alignment, awareness and a good sprinkling of enthusiasm and joy!

12.30pm – 12.45pm Felicity Edwards, Forest Therapies.
Auricular therapy
This therapy is related to acupuncture, but also ties in with the hypnosis side of my treatments.

1.00pm Caroline Gostling, Wye Valley & Forest of Dean Therapy & Healing centre.

Caroline from Wye Valley & Forest of Dean Therapy and Healing Centre will be offering taster healing sessions. Find out how Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy could help you and also about the wide variety of therapy sessions and workshops to be held at her her new centre. These include Past Life Regression, Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life workshops, Psychic and Spiritual development classes, Spiritual and Reiki Healing, Spiritual Readings and Retreats.

1.45pm – 2.00pm Chris Adams, Adfitness
Neurokinetic Therapy
‘NKT’ allows us to get clients out of pain and help them regain confidence in their bodies, which they may have lost due to injury or ongoing pain. Come along to find out more.

2.15pm – 2.45pm Helen Hayes, Alba Health.
Stress Busters for the Busy
Learn a few simple tools and techniques to create calm and reduce stress.

3.00pm – 3.15pm Jo Cooper, Uniqueness Health.
Energy medicine
Energy medicine is both a compliment to other systems of medical care, and a complete system for self-care and self-help. It can address physical illness and emotional disorders, and it can also promote wellness and peak performance.

3.30pm – 4.00pm Kishe Redwood, Wildwood Yoga
Iyengar yoga
This yoga is accessible to anyone. See 11.45am session.

4.15pm – 4.30pm Jaqui Fabian
